Operation and use of high pressure ball valves:
1) Make sure that the pipes and valves have been flushed before operation.
2) The operation of the valve is driven by the input signal size of the actuator to complete the rotation of the valve stem: when the positive rotation is 1/4 turn (90 degrees), the valve is closed. When the reverse rotation is 1/4 turn (90 degree), the valve opens.
3) When the direction of the actuator indicates that the arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is open; when the direction of the arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is closed.
Repair
With a longer service life and maintenance-free period, it will depend on the following factors: normal working conditions, maintaining a harmonious temperature/pressure ratio, and reasonable corrosion data.
Be careful:
When the ball valve is closed, there is still pressure fluid inside the valve body.
Remove pipeline pressure and keep valve in open position before maintenance
Before maintenance, disconnect the power or gas source
Separate the actuator from the bracket before maintenance
Before disassembly and decomposition operation, it is necessary to ascertain that the upstream and downstream pipes of the ball valve have indeed been depressed.
During decomposition and reassembly, care must be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surface of parts, especially non-metallic parts. Special tools should be used when removing O-rings.
Bolts on flanges must be tightened symmetrically, step by step and evenly during assembly
Cleaning agent should be compatible with rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working media (e.g. gas) in ball valves. When the working medium is gas, the metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline (GB484-89). Cleaning of non-metallic parts with pure water or alcohol
Separated parts can be washed by immersion. Metallic parts that remain undissolved can be scrubbed with clean, fine silk cloth impregnated with detergent (to avoid fibers falling off and adhering to the parts). Cleaning must remove all the grease, dirt, glue, dust adhering to the wall, etc.
Non-metallic parts should be removed from the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, and should not be immersed for a long time.
After cleaning, it needs to be assembled after the wall cleaning agent evaporates (can be wiped with silk cloth without soaking detergent), but it should not be shelved for a long time, otherwise it will rust and be polluted by dust.
New parts need to be cleaned before assembly.
Use grease to lubricate. Lubricating grease should be compatible with ball valve metal material, rubber parts, plastic parts and working media. When the working medium is gas, such as Te221 grease can be used. A thin layer of grease is coated on the surface of the sealing groove, a thin layer of grease is coated on the rubber seal, and a thin layer of grease is coated on the sealing and friction surfaces of the valve stem.
When assembling, no metal debris, fibre, grease (except prescribed use) dust and other impurities, foreign bodies, etc. should be allowed to contaminate, adhere to or stay on the surface of parts or enter the inner cavity. It is forbidden to use in the industrial chain of underground ditch oil.
